The dog days of summer...

We finally got that much needed rain we've been waiting for. It rained buckets this morning. As we all know, rain makes mud and mud makes THESE:

All over my newly laundered sheets.

Even thought it appears she's in jail, just like she deserves to be, she's actually just on the landing outside the carriage house. Can I get mad at that face??

Many of you know Homer, the Yarn Lounge shop dog:

Homer would never do something as crass as jumping up on the bed with muddy foot prints. Of course, that's largely because Stewart has enough sense not to let him onto the furniture.
